About Me

Empowering Individuals, Couples, and Adolescents to Thrive
Hello! Whoever you are, you are worthy of acceptance and have the potential to thrive. As a therapist at the Center for Mental Health Excellence (CFMHE), I am dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and adolescents navigate life’s challenges and rediscover their path to well-being. We all get derailed sometimes and it can be difficult to get back on track. Whether it’s loss, hardship, shame, or even fear, sometimes we can get so off track that it’s hard to remember if we were ever on track. Whatever you are going through, your distress is real. You are not wrong for feeling how you do, and you have a chance to feel better.

A Multidisciplinary Background in Relational Fields
My journey to becoming a therapist is rooted in a diverse background of relational fields. Originally a sports medicine major, after graduating from Pepperdine University I spent some time in medical sales and home healthcare before discovering the field of psychology. Currently, I am working towards a Masters in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology. Despite being relatively new to the field, I have a voracious appetite for new information, and avidly pursue the most salient research in the field. This multidisciplinary experience has equipped me with a unique perspective and a wide range of tools to support my clients in their healing and growth.

Creating an Individualized Experience of Understanding and Empowerment
In my practice, I utilize adeptness with multiple modalities to create an individualized experience of honest understanding and empowerment. No need to pretend to be anything, I welcome people of all backgrounds. Whether you want to talk about losing a loved one, or vent about the crushing pain of your favorite sports team losing their franchise player, I am here to talk. It is truly one of my greatest joys to hear your story, and work together towards solutions. I believe everyone has worth and unique value to share with the world. I work primarily with adults, couples, and adolescents, meeting them wherever they are in their journey, be it a place of light or darkness.

Pursuing Well-being and Balance
In my free time, I am usually outside pursuing fitness in some capacity, or at home reading a good book. I deeply value the importance of self-care and maintaining a healthy work-life balance, as it allows me to be fully present and engaged with my clients during our sessions.
