Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee

I grew up in Lake Tahoe, California, an experience that gave me a holistic view of health and a love of the outdoors. I have always been inspired by people and their stories, which initially led me to move to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. My journey took an exciting turn when I relocated to New York City and began working with a Nutritionist and CBT Therapist. This experience and my own work in therapy ignited a deep interest in psychology, and I decided to return to school. I completed my Bachelor’s at New York University with an interdisciplinary major in Psychology and Narrative Writing with a minor in Child and Adolescent Mental Health studies.

I am now pursuing my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University, focusing on Marriage and Family Therapy. I look forward to growing personally and professionally as I deepen my knowledge and skills in this field. Outside of my professional endeavors, I enjoy reading, cooking, yoga, running, skiing, and outdoor adventures.

As a clinical trainee, I offer a supportive space for individuals, couples, and families. I believe therapy is a courageous step, and my goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you can explore your unique story. I use diverse therapeutic modalities to guide and support you in achieving your goals.

I come from a kind and loving place and understand that life’s path often diverges from our expectations. Many of us find ourselves unprepared for the challenges thrown our way, and I am no stranger to self-doubt and overcoming obstacles. My journey has taken me through various roles, each enriching my experience in this field.

My professional journey as a Marriage and Family Therapist trainee is dedicated to supporting adults, couples, and adolescents. I focus on breaking down life’s hurdles into achievable goals, ensuring that you are not alone in this journey. My personal challenges as a parent and my diverse life experiences have reignited my passion for psychology. I specialize in areas like postpartum depression, motherhood, marriage counseling, family therapy, teens, and addressing substance abuse.

I have facilitated therapy groups in Los Angeles jails and served as an Intake Coordinator at LA Metropolitan Hospital, assisting individuals from low and no-income backgrounds in accessing mental health services. Balancing my personal life as a mother, a partner to a high-achieving husband, and a Master’s student at Pepperdine University, I have firsthand experience with the complexities of modern life.

I am eager to learn about your unique story and to support you through your journey. Your presence here is a significant first step, and I am here to guide you toward finding the right therapist that resonates with your needs and goals.
