About Me
Compassionate Support for Life’s Challenges
As a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee (MFTT) at the Center for Mental Health Excellence (CFMHE), I work with adolescents, adults, and couples to navigate life’s most difficult moments with care and understanding. My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental, helping you feel safe to explore your experiences and develop meaningful strategies for well-being.
If anxiety, depression, grief, or chronic illness are making it hard to feel grounded in your daily life, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to manage it by yourself. Many of the clients I work with feel overwhelmed, tense, or stuck in a state of high alert, even when things look “fine” on the outside. Mental health difficulties can affect sleep, focus, relationships, and your sense of safety in the world, but therapy with me can be a place to slow things down and begin feeling steadier again. I am an exceptionally nonjudgmental and open-minded therapist trainee, committed to creating a calm, supportive space where you can speak honestly about what you’re experiencing. My approach is warm (occasionally, even silly), collaborative, and rooted in genuine care. Together, we’ll work to understand your symptoms and reduce the distress that’s interfering with your well-being. Meanwhile, I’ll take care to understand the full context of your life so therapy feels responsive, personalized, and meaningful.

My approach is informed by empathy, curiosity, and respect for each person’s lived experience.
Accessible Care at CFMHE
At the Center for Mental Health Excellence, we believe mental health care should be accessible to everyone. I offer secure telehealth sessions throughout California, including evenings. I provide a free 15-minute phone consultation to help us determine if we’re a good fit, plus six free therapy sessions, with additional sessions available on a sliding scale.
Personal Note
Outside of therapy, I enjoy hiking at sunset, practicing yoga, reading fantasy novels, and spending time with my adopted German Shepherd, Audrey. My 15-year career in politics and civil rights informs my commitment to understanding diverse life experiences and advocating for social equity in therapy.
